The 2010 Brookneal Wine Festival at Red Hill is hosted by The Brookneal Chamber of Commerce with a portion of proceeds being donated to BEAM Ministries. This event is 21 and Up, Rain or Shine, with no outside food or beverage permitted.
The Brookneal Chamber of Commerce announces it's Inaugural Wine Festival at Red Hill, the home and burial place of Patrick Henry, near Brookneal, on July 17, 2010, from 2-7 pm.We will be featuring local wines, live music, great local food, arts and crafts. We are pleased to feature these fine local wineries: Tomahawk Mill Vineyards, Bright Meadows Winery, Spring Creek Wine Cellar, Annefield Vineyards and Sans Soucy Vineyards. This year's live bands will include "The Rain Stealers" and "Phoenix Rising"! Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket, get a bottle of wine, and enjoy some fabulous music!The price of admission is $10 for designated drivers (no wine tasting), $15 in advance and $20 the day of the event. This is an event for ages 21 and up.Make plans now to join us for this fun time and support our local Brookneal businesses and vendors!!All proceeds from this event will benefit our local food bank, BEAM, and The Brookneal Chamber of Commerce.
